John started his career in the antique business in 1969 with the long-established company “The Connoisseur’s Store”. He commenced with his family business, EJ Ainger, in 1972 and for 50 years has been an Auctioneer and Valuer specialising in antiques and decorative arts.
Home Visits

We are happy to visit your home and inspect your items. A small charge for this service maybe incurred but refundable when items are subsequently consigned to us for sale. Please contact the office on 03 94282850 and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Formal Valuations

Formal and written valuations maybe arranged for Auction Sale Estimates, Probate purposes, Insurance and Family Law matters. We provide valuation services for individual items to entire home contents. We also provide services to Professional Advisors, Trustees, Solicitors and Executors.

Saturday: 10am – 1 pm (every 2nd week)
Sunday: Closed
