John started his career in the antique business in 1969 with the long-established company “The Connoisseur’s Store”. He commenced with his family business, EJ Ainger, in 1972 and for 50 years has been an Auctioneer and Valuer specialising in antiques and decorative arts.

Marc brings nearly two decades of invaluable international experience in art and the art market, having served as an art expert for auction houses and an art advisor for HNWI.

 His qualifications include university degrees, extensive art courses, and some in financial investment. He has a global presence, collaborating with museums and galleries. Specializing in 18th-century French art in Paris and European paintings, he's a seasoned art specialist and valuer. His expertise covers cataloguing, valuation, and documentation of various artworks, along with proficiency in handling estates, insurance valuations, art investment, and collection management.
